Bella Vida

My good friend Maggie lives on a smallholding in France and is pursuing the 'Good Life' - living as environmentally-friendly and ethical life as possible on next to no resources (i.e. money). She has one of the biggest hearts in anyone I have ever met and 'Bella Vida' has become to lots of animal waifs and strays as she has rehomed rabbits, chickens, cats and many more animals or birds that needed a home. 

All the while living without the things many of us take for granted - an adequate water heating system, electricity, sanitation - and trying to provide these things through a combination of hard work, ingenuity and objects thrown away by others.

Both Maggie and her partner Joao work hard but they have fallen on hard times and they, and their animal companions, face eviction.
