I offer a Celebrancy service including legally-binding wedding or handfasting ceremonies which can be written to your requirements and beliefs and can be held anywhere in Scotland. I have been a Celebrant for about twelve years and have a licence from the General Registrar for Scotland to conduct a legally-binding wedding.  I also hold a licence to conduct a legally-binding religious marriage for same sex couples. For more details about this click here.

I am also a professionally-trained Funeral celebrant and hold an NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Funeral Celebrancy. I can help you to create a truly personal funeral ceremony to reflect exactly the way to wish to celebrate the life of your loved ones. I also offer a funeral planning service to assist you in drawing up plans for your own funeral service.

I hold a Certificate in Permaculture Design and am working towards a Diploma in Applied Permaculture. I also hold a B.Sc degree in Environmental Sciences, an MA in Ancient Studies, a post-graduate Diploma in Land Surveying and a Diploma in Holistic Therapies. I run workshops and courses on a variety of skills including traditonal crafts and environmental education as well as running my own smallholding - the 'farmlet' - in rural Argyll where I keep chickens, Indian Runner Ducks, call ducks and bees, make my own wine, mead and beer and am working towards becoming self-sufficient in fruit and vegetables.

I also retail my own range of hand-made goods ranging from knitted and hand-crocheted hats and accessories, greetings cards and beady jewellery. I attend craft and producers fairs in Argyll where I sell my work and a selection of hats and accessories is also available at Elizabeth Sykes Batiks on Islay and at Crafted of Elgin. I will also be exhibiting at Strachur Smiddy Museum and Craft Shop as part of Cowal Open Studios (CoS) between 21st-24th September 2018. I've always believed that life is what you make it and have always enjoyed a challenge. With the latter in mind, I was a competitor - with my travel buddy Denise - on the Channel 4 programme 'Coach Trip' with Brendan Sheerin in 2014.
